LED Pool Lights - Anyone Use Them?

Post by Globetrotter » March 25th, 2017, 2:57 pm

Hi Everyone,

I'm considering replacing my blown pool lights with LED bulbs instead. They are about 3x the price, but it should save ever having to change them and lower power consumption.

My concern is that they won't give off as much light - has anyone used these and what are the results? Are they any dimmer?

Cheers

Dan

I changed mine last year and they are great, definitely worth doing as the running costs are a fraction of normal bulbs. The light output is different as in more direct and brighter if that makes sense.

Brilliant, thank you - I've just ordered them!

They also colour change apparently and have a remote control, that could be fun

Do you have to drain the pool to replace the lights?

No. You can just reach in (on ours) undo the screws and yank it out!
