Post by billmccan » June 25th, 2019, 5:04 pm

Sitting in Bar Delphin with a lovely cool pint of Amstel having been down at the beach at Alcufar and the water was green anyone know the reason, I remember the last time I was there it was nice and clean

It was like that at Cala En Porter many years ago, Algae was the cause.

We went on the 19th and the water was distinctly brown. Not very nice at all but further down by the steps was fine.
Someone said it was algae but I didn't want to put my toes in it.
