1. Strolling gently round Alaior early each morning, deciding which of the lovely bakeries to get my fresh bread from.
2. Bumping into Menorcan friends and neighbours each year, and renewing our acquaintances with them.
3. Sitting on a rickety wooden jetty in Sa Nitja, watching the sun sink slowly behing the rugged coastline.

There are so many more things I love about Menorca, it's hard to choose .....
Regards,

Young Uncle Bert

Take me home to the place I belong - ALAIOR, MENORCA!!

Well, that donkey frightened the living daylights out of me last June, to cut a long story short I was walking back from Calas Coves alont the cliff route, when I was caught short for a jimmy riddle.

I went over to where there are some bushes and pines away from the track and was having a pee when the ruddy donkey came up hehind me a scared me sh**less  (literally)

I threw him one of my sandwiches ans scarpered pronto.

I cant sit on my bum on a beach, or besides a pool for 2 weeks, my idea of a rest is exploring & eating :finga: :finga: :finga:
Mine too, except in Menorca. In reality though I hardly ever end up doing nothing because something usually needs doing on the villa. But still, I preserve with the intent of having a complete rest and catching up on writing and reading - one day it might happen that way

It's difficult to find only 3, but here goes:

1. Sitting on our balcony, watching the world go by. (This also annoys the Wife!)
2. Sitting in Bar es Moll, Es Grau eating sardines, drinking cider and bird-watching.
3. Sitting in the garden of the 007 Bar, CNP drinking cider and chatting to regulars.

Basically lots of sitting unlike Michael H.

I also agree as I like to get out and about a lot myself, but I only 3 choices! What I was referring to was your encounter with the Donkey, maybe I should have said s*itting.

Mines in no particular order.

Sitting in the main square in Mahon at sunset, when all the local's young and old. Come out for a chinwag, and thinking to myself this would be a nice life to live.

Walking up the step's from the beach at Cala n Porter.Fantasic way to clear your mind.

Sitting at Sa Paissa at night with a Estrella, watching my two young kid's
having fun. And thinking where time went.
