Isla del Ray / Isla del hospital - Kings Island / Hospital Island

Situated in Mahon's harbour near Es Castell. Everyone is welcome to visit the Island, the boat leaves from Cala Fontanillas [between the Ray Carlos and the Agamenón hotels] at 08:45 on Sunday mornings, with the return around 11:00.

There is an excellent guided tour in Spanish and a separate one in English after which you are invited to breakfast where you'll be able to taste local delicacies. No tea or coffee, but you can wash the breakfast down with beer and vino  or a soft drink.

The entire trip including the boat there and back is free, but we hope you will dig deep when the donation bowl comes round.

There web site is http://www.islahospitalmenorca.org/ but it only works in Internet Explorer :???:

To coincide with the Queens Jubilee [2nd - 3rd of June] there will be a number of events around the Island.

Hort Sant Patrici are making a special vintage wine to celebrate.

As last years British Menorca weekend was such a success, it will be held again this year on the 2nd - 3rd Of June in Es Castell to coincide with the Queens Jubilee. Some great events/entertainment is planned, full itinerary when I receive it.

There will be a classic car rally across the Island stopping at various points, again more details as I get them.

Red Arrows

Are again coming to Menorca on the 26th of September [not as some websites say in June] So if you are in Menorca them make sure you are in or near Mahon in a good vantage point for this spectacular show.

Make a note its on the 26th of September
