Every Menorquin who I have spoken to on my travels thinks Cala'n Porter is an Ingles ghetto, maybe it's a cultural difference thing......
Ouch! ... Just bought a property there

There is a good mix of nationalities. We have families of menorca, italy, France and English around our home.

There is also a selection of bars run by different nationalities so you choose where you go.

We rented there for a year and a half and I enjoyed our time there, lot's to do in the winter, quiz, dancing lessons (which I went to on my own but soon got to know everyone) and bingo until it was stopped by the police as no gambling allowed. I found people friendly and had a great time there.
I only let him think he's in charge.

Exactly, each to their own, we are all different, it wouldn't been much fun if we were all the same.

...the issue is there are more residents ( with dogs ) in CnP and no Enforcement as there is not allocation of officials from Alaior, so Rodger the local councilor says . Other beach resorts have very few residents . Would be nice for a bit more consideration from dog owners

:???: I agree, we have a dog and always pick up after her, so many don't bother and some just let them off the lead and don't keep an eye on the dog so don't see it making a mess, it's a pet hate of mine to see owners ignoring the dog, usually busy on the mobile
