That's terribly sad news indeed.

Re: Binibequer, Los Bucanero beach bar
Just done a translation of this from the local newspaper: -
The family that has managed this establishment since the early 1960s, is waiting for the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, which includes the Coastal Demarcation, to resolve the concession of the emblematic establishment integrated in a certain way into the landscape of the coast of Sant Lluís.
The concession for this unique beach bar, like that of many other similar constructions along the Spanish coast, expired in 2018 after a period of three decades. The Los Bucaneros concessionaires then requested the renewal of the commitment, but Costas has not yet resolved it. Last year the establishment did open to the public even though the decision of the corresponding body was not known then.
The situation of this administrative hiatus has been aggravated for the previous concessionaires by the serious flaws caused by the passage of storm 'Gloria' at the end of last January.
The effect of the squall destroyed a large part of the small terraces erected outside the beach bar that were used by those in charge thanks to a special authorization. There they had about ten wooden tables with removable stools, benches and umbrellas at the end of each season. However, the passage of the storm filled the area with debris that were removed by employees of Costas, but the terraces where the furniture was placed have not been replaced.
Those responsible for Los Bucaneros have also been unable to undertake the works to repair this area, where they served clients, since without the concession they cannot execute it. The absence of the tables considerably limits the capacity of the establishment and, with this, reduces the business of the beach bar.
