Patisserie Elena?

Post by the mad buyer » March 30th, 2015, 9:02 pm

Next door to Bar España do a lovely coffee and pastry. Food and drink served from morning until night. Fancy a beer and a bocadillo? You can have that too.

And you won't meet a nicer lass too. We always called in on out trips to Es Castell, every Saturday morning six of of us would meet for a coffee which would invariably lead onto Vino/cerveza as soon at the town hall struck 12

Agree we like it there also Patisserie Elena?.....its surprising how many more places we have visited since the sad demise of...in our opinion..the heart of Es Castell, Peters bar in the square...we all thought we could not live without it but a whole new world of Tapas , cerveza , coffee etc has opened up.....

Yes, great local coffee bar. Always good coffee and good service. We always enjoy walking here in the mornings for our morning coffee and talking to the local ex pats when holidaying in Es Castell. Always impressed by how many orders she can take and remember them all without writing down. Something which seems in this country to be a bit much after one order!

Not the same lady I'm sorry to say, she sold it a few years ago.
I only let him think he's in charge.

There's several coffee cafes in EsCastell as you well know and love them all it always impress me how they manage run them with minimal staff and still give good service ... ☺️ It's there way of life , and I do compare it with some of local cafes in our country and wonder in amazement 🙄🙄.
