Mid trip review

Early September and the resort is still busy, beach is looking packed and all the restaurants on the front look full at lunch time, no vacant properties so it looks like the resort must be doing OK, even t he land train to Binibequer is also looking fullish on the couple of times I've seen it pass.

We are staying at the Occidental [was barchelo] is full. Its a very good hotel with lots going on to keep everyone entertained, our room is large and very comfortable although I read that some of them are very small and cramped. The only downside is the food, definitely not the* it advertises, I'd give it 2.5 to 3*, quite disappointing.

The island seems much quieter this week for tourists than last week.

I've been running past the hotel most evenings.

Much cooler today but hopefully only a blip.

One couple did say I was "crackers" as I ran past them.

It's easier now though with the temps and humidity not as high.

Yes having a good time, we have always liked Punta Prima. Even though when the kids were young we mostly stayed at Binibequer, we spent a lot of time at Punta Prima.

Why would anybody not like Punta Prima, especially when you can get Spam.
Spam and chips , Spam Inglese style Paella, with Spam and chips.
What about dessert..... Arroz con leche with Spam inglese style!!!
