Will things ever be “normal” again....??

Post by alisonward » March 18th, 2021, 6:39 pm

Just watching yet another Coronavirus Briefing on BBC and wondering if we will soon be rid of the need for these updates? Almost a year on since the first national lockdown began and things seem to be slowly, slowly improving. But will we dare return to flying abroad in our thousands; braving crowded airports and being in very close proximity to total strangers who may be carrying more than overweight luggage?! How much we took for granted before this horror was unleashed on us.... I long for a time when I can happily book a holiday under the beautiful azure blue Menorcan sky and look forward to eating out and drinking Pomada in the sunshine. Stay safe everyone :toasting:

We missed last year and I think we will miss this year too, hopefully by next year we will dare to book flights, who would have thought this time last year it would go on for so long
I only let him think he's in charge.

Hello Alison's
We are thinking the same as you ,.....do we dare to dream ?? .

Of "Menorcann Blue ".

That's all we have at the moment ,to dream , I personally don't think there will be much happening in the near future .
I hope I'm wrong , I would go next week if it was safe .

I agree with Denise and Mr Tigi, and hopefully there will be sun at the end of the tunnel soon.

Right now we would be ecstatic if we could have a couple of days in Costa del Bridlington !
