Maribel 3- 2 week stay

Recently got back from a very hot 2 weeks ,prices are expensive,as i remembered, car hire was 190 for 3 days !! got it down to 120 after haggling :grin: did horse riding on a great trail very steep and rocky ,kayaking at Fornells 17 per hour got 2 hours for 25 for the 3 of us in one kayak,lots of eating out ,mainly 32-62euros every evening ate at a few in Cala Blanca plus few in Cala n Bosch,snorkelling/sunning on beach and by nice quiet pool ,noticed very few brits now mainly Spanish from mainland .Drinks are ridiculously small ,a coke/orange/lemon in 200ml bottles 2euros!!!!this is in bars ,3 swigs and its gone.Went mainly to drink in Nautilus as my daughter is friends with Chemas girl and drinks in Tonis bar ,right miserable bugger,if it wasnt for barman Richard from UK i wouldnt bother there ,me and Rich and local waiters had several late nights there :partyman: :oops: :vom: lovely holiday ,great people but could have gone to Florida (which we are in June)for about £400 more ,thats 2 weeks car hire/villa sleeping 12/flgihts /$2000 spending money against Maribel and flights/3 day car/1400 euros spending money :shock: but ill still be back next year,anyone going say Gaz says hello to Danny (maribel)joanne( Sa Cova)Rich(Tonis bar)Chema(Nautilus)Maria(Julias supermarket)Andreas Capo (ex Barca goalie,drinks in Tonis)

What can I say ... Car hire in August without pre booking will cost you, although I know someone who was charged €100 per day :shock: Kayaking at Fornells at €17 per hour :shock: we pay €7.50 single €12 for a double at Es Grau.

Most restaurants are having a bad time, but to start charging these [coke/orange/lemon in 200ml bottles 2euros] prices will only make things worse.

The pre booking price was equally expensive which is why we werent going to have a car,the one i used undercuts them all just to get a sale
