Regarding nudist beaches, just tell them to follow the first German couple they come across, for some reason they always find it necessary to plonk themselves down right next to us on any beach and continue to strip down to their birthday suits !!
Wouldn't mind but it really puts me off my corned beef sandwiches :vom: :vom:
:finga: :finga: :finga:
    Me too
Chris and his G/F whenever they came on hols with me & my ex Mrs, would just strip off in a quiet part of the beach !

I dont mind and sometimes do the same if it is a recognised beach with lots of other floppy bodied folks on it  I dont look out of place then. :finga:
These two dont care though

I know most of the beaches in the south and north, but have never stayed in Cala Blanca before, non of us are going to hire a car ,so was looking at a bus or bike ride.

I might get some peace and quiet then to do some exploring on me bike...

Thanks for all the replies... good fun as usual :prayer:

Okay you need to do this now!

Go to the gym 8 days a week, work hard, no pain no gain!

Control your diet, eat healthy, no beer, ignore the temptation for cakes (the cream doughnutty ones are moorish but no good for the half gallon six pack) and chips.

With a little hard work your body will look like 'Adonis'.

Your son will be ashamed to take his clothes off, with Dad having a super bod.

Then you'll all go to normal beaches and live happily ever after.

Sorted (by Nigel agony uncle, feel free to ask for any advice or concerns, male of female) (second thoughts females PM (t) me)).

Blimey,
I cycle to work 10 miles a day, 5 days a week rain or shine.
I swim twice or 3 times a week, after the gym.
I eat everything supposed healthy for me.
I drink probably 4 cans of beer and a bottle of red a week.

It doesnt seem to be doing the trick , my hair hasnt grown back, nor have the wrinkly bits unwrinkled, so I reckon I have 3 weeks till the 22nd Sept when we go.
I might just :finga: :finga: :finga: let myself go :susies:

Well I seem to have found a simple solution ---

To the bus station in Ciutadella, Republica Argentina ---
No 72 bus to Sant Tomas
Short walk to Binigaus or longer hot one over the headland to Son Bou

Thanks for that, but no car, foot bus or pedal power only  .

Only 10 days to go now and looking forward immensly to stopping on the west side of the island for the first time.

I wonder what the weather will be like in comparison to the first week in June, when I stopped in Cala n Porter.

Looking at the weather report archive they seem quite similar in temp with a few showers here and there, but we will have to see.

Chris & Liz who are stopping with me are beach animals, I dont care much as long as I can travel about on my own in peace, anti social so and so I am. :finga:

We walked over from Son Bou to Santo Tomas and it really isn't that far at all. still quite a few nuddy sunbathers there so you should be OK. Not as much beach now though and, in parts, the fence has collapsed as there is not enough sand to hold it up any more.
Feels good to be home :ele: :ele:

Son Bou beach is a shadow of its former glory, successive storms over the last few winters have taken 60 - 70% of the sand. It has been depleting for quite some time, we have photos [back in the UK] taken in 1986/87 showing nearly 100mts of sand in front of the hotels. Last winter it was down to 10-20mts
