Arrived Saturday. The journey was uneventful. Other than mask wearing, plane less than half full and almost an hour to get through passport control (there were 2-3 flights) and showing covid pass once through.
It feels so much safer here than at home, no hospitalisations and 40ish cases.
Weatherwise we’ve had a couple of good beach days so far, didn’t get the predicted storms so have managed a few nice walks, it was noticeably cooler Monday evening but not too bad. We’ve had rain this morning, supposed to clear later. All in all it’s great to be back. Sounds like a lot of brits are headed here in the next couple of weeks. The season here has been extremely busy with other nationalities. There’s a lot of Spanish, french and Germans here at the moment also Italians and Americans. The secret is out, hope there’s room for us all next year!!
