Re: Urgent residency update

I’ve just read the article again and it says up to 49%. France is 49%, so I’ll take your word that it’s 24% for Spain.

Re: Urgent residency update

The article actually said it was 49% for non-EU nationals. If it’s an increase of 5%, that doesn’t really seem much of an issue.

The article said this was an outstanding point of negotiation in the event of no deal.

Re: Urgent residency update

I read in The Telegraph that Spain are understood to be preparing to allow existing U.K. home owners to maintain the same rights as EU nationals on the basis of no deal.

I presume the date you heard from the police is tied to the leave deadline, so will be restarted once the date has been extended.

Re: Satellite dish and heated pools

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Can you please let me know what set top box you use for the FilmOn? Does this give you any BBC World service etc?

Re: Satellite dish and heated pools

Ok! So I’ve now got my 8Mbps Internet service installed, so am onto the next phase of the project - removing the ugly satellite dish! Was wondering how the IPTV installation went? Has anyone tried this with any success? I’m particularly keek to see how it performs in high season. I suspect I’ll need...

Flowers delivery

Hi,

I want to send some flowers via Interflora to Menorca.

Does anyone know which country I use? The only option appears to be Spain, so do I select Spain and then put Menorca above it?

Or can anyone recommend a good florist in mahon that I can contact (order and pay) via the Internet?

Thanks.

Re: LED Pool Lights - Anyone Use Them?

Do you have to drain the pool to replace the lights?

Re: Binibeca

Where is the DP place? Is this in Binibeca? I agree the pound fluctuation is difficult and Brexit uncertainty is putting people off (although I’m not sure why). The pound will bounce back, but in reality, FX is hedged for the year, so has limited/no impact on the rental / flights and the difference ...

Re: Tourist licence

Looking at the photo, it’s possible that moving the kitchen back won’t be that expensive. It will require reworking the kitchen, but you can re-use the existing cabinets etc and the plumbing should be easy to change. Not sure which way the wooden roof supports will run, but again that’s not a huge j...
