Where was the weather photo taken

Whereabouts on the Cami de Cavalls would that be, then Steve? When we walked down to Calas covas at the end of October there was some work going on with a sign referring to the Cami. They looked to be clearing a path that CROSSED the track down to the cove and I wondered if they might be linking Cal...

Re: Cami de Cavalls

Thanks for that. Are the paths shown on your maps marked by the Cami de Cavalls wooden signposts? The section between Binigaus and Cala Escorxada shown on your maps don't correspond to the route marked by signs. It reckon the full walk could prove to be one of the great walking routes of Europe. Mix...

Cami de Cavalls

Hi
Just read on the on-line edition of Diario Menorca that a guide to the Cami de Cavalls has just been/will soon be published. Anyone know when and where this will be available?

Re: I need Heeeellllpppp

Pa amb oli just off the Born square (Correos side) is as 'authentic' as you're likely to get in the middle of town. The menu del dia at lunch time is very good, but you may have to ask specifically for it.

Re: On-line check in

We flew with bmibaby last week and checked-in online and printed off our boarding cards. This facility is only available 3 days before departure. Seats were allocated at this point so no cost involved there - everything hunky dory on way there. When we got to check in for the return flight however w...

Re: The Sandy beach has vanished

Hola
How has the beach beyond Es Bruc (Binigaus) been affected, do you know? Coming over next week and would prefer some sand under our feet!

Re: Anything new for 2009?

Hola We might see you at Escorxada - we'll be doing that walk sometime over the Easter hols. I'm a bit worried about "No sand" at Santo Tomas. Does this apply all the way along to Binigaus? I know that storms often deplete the beach almost right up to the low cliffs at the rear of the beach. What is...

Re: Authentic tapas bars

There is a local bar along Calle Isabelle where loads of scooters park up, opposite a small candle shop. It does a lovely range of small rolls which could be classed as tapas. Otherwise there is a bar on the corner of Calle San Roc which does brilliant tapas and rolls as well as specialising in a gr...

Re: DIY shop

Sintes on the poligono in Mao has a good range of paints. There are branches elsewhere on the island I think.
