Re: change

64 bus goes around the resort, see link below: https://www.bus.e-torres.net/en/lineas-regulares/route-64/ The 65 (Cala'n Bosch bus) only goes into the resort on it's return to Ciutadella; on the way out you can get off at the Son Carrio stop and it's 5-10 mins walk into the resort from there. enjoy ...

Re: Mestral furniture unit

You should be able to find it via:

https://mestralmenorca.org/

BTW the branch in Ciutadella (also on the poligon) usually has some very good furniture and household items in too and at very good prices

Re: Live Music/Artists

I saved this link some years ago for other reasons but he is a musician! http://davidfishel.net/ You could also try contacting Jazzobert which organises many events in Menorca, most are jazz related, but we have seen some good and lively bands performing covers of other genres at some of their summe...

Re: Travelling with dogs

As Slarti says it's better to shop around for insurance if you have any existing health conditions and there are plenty of specialist companies. Google will turn up plenty! We've been with Staysure and Good to go in the past who covered existing health conditions including asthma; we had a problem l...

Re: Bars and restaurants

Both ways to walk are good! Watch the sunset from the cliffs- take your own drinks or buy from Blancala Apartments restaurant bar, or the Irish bar on the edge of the commercial centre (although you'll need to get there early as the outside tables are v popular!). Buses are good if you're not hiring...

Re: Wedding Help!

It may be useful to contact wedding planners (as per Slarti's suggestion) to see if they can direct you to people they use for your specific requirements- nothing to lose by winging out a few e-mails  good luck and please let us know if you have any success. all the best trevx ps hope you have...

Re: April in Cala Blanca

Think you'd find it vv quiet! I've been told the same applies in Cala Blanca as across the island: many places (bars, hotels, restaurants) don't open until May. Add to that, Easter is late next year (21/04) so there's less incentive to open sooner. Unless you've got private accommodation I suspect y...

Re: Bars and restaurants

Yep that area would be pretty central! No suggestions to offer for that area, we stay at the Blancala apartments: simple/ basic but there's only the 2 of us so we're happy with that (we don't want/need fancy!), suit our budget, love the location, great staff. There's plenty of choice in Cala Blanca,...

Re: Bars and restaurants

I can't give you a fair comparison as it's been some years since we went to the 2 resorts you mention, but having stayed in Cala Blanca many times over recent years, I can happily recommend it. It has a pretty good selection of restaurants and bars. There are several clustered around the cala itself...

Re: Menorcan gin

Just back from spring break and whilst wandering through the duty free found before my gleeful eyes a stand with menorcan gin At €13. Had got a couple of stashed in my suitcase but decided to get another one just to encourage the airport to leave it in the duty free rather than in the speciality sh...
