It is in the process of being refurbished.Unfortunately although bookings have already been taken it is not looking likely to be finished in time to start the season.I have read on other sites that clients are already being informed of this by the tour companies and moved to alternative hotels.

Dont forget today is a public holiday.We came for a weekend break a few years back and found everywhere on 12th deserted like a ghost town.

We are returning to Arenal next week with my Mum who would like to have her hair done during her stay.Does anyone know of any hairdressers locally or hotels with salons or would it mean a trip to Mahon.

Looking forward to being there and have just emailed to reserve two.

OMG what a horrible situation.We will be out in 3 weeks time and although staying in Arenal had planned to make a trip to visit you in your new venture.I hope this can all be resolved in your favour but it does seem that someone was afraid of the competition.Best wishes to you both x

I was disappointed to think I would miss them for a third time as we return from our holiday on 13th September but have persuaded my OH to return for a long weekend so I shall be taking up a good vantage point on the day to get the best view.

I always lose my bearings in the port but I know if you come down the steps opposite the ferry terminal and turn right it is a short walk and has a brown wooden sign above the door.

We popped in to see Kate in May and had some delicious tapas cooked by Andreas.Its a compact bar with a couple of tables inside but more space on the pavement where bigger parties can be served.Fernando was still running Sa Gavina in Arenal where we also ate and had a lovely meal.

Brilliant tried to organise a trip like that a couple of years back but on the day the weather was awful and haven't managed it yet but will definitely look into it again
