Re: Arrivals from the UK - PCR tests?

Well Menorca's still on the Amber list :???: but UK residents are permitted to travel there without a PCR test or proof of vaccination. Flying back to the UK is a whole different ballgame  [i]This was taken from the UK Government website today:- From 24 May, entry restrictions and testing requ...

Re: Do you own a property in Menorca.

This hasn't been enforced yet, and I'm thinking they'll be so desperate for tourists from the UK that the idea will be scrapped. If they're prepared to let Brits fly in without a PCR or vaccination (despite the 'Indian' variant), they're hardly likely to create another law that restricts travel. Thi...

Happy New Year All (fingers crossed it’s better than 2020)! :prayer: Well we actually managed a 2 week stay on the island for Christmas and New Year, this time without being interrupted by flight cancellations, despite all the chaos going on in the UK :???: Flights between Manchester – Palma – Mahon...

Re: Flying between Balearic islands

Cheers everyone :partyman: hope you all have a fab Christmas :barmy: I’m well happy this morning, as Iberia have put an earlier flight on between the islands, so now we won’t have to spend the whole day in Palma  We’ll (hopefully) arrive mid afternoon, get off the plane, straight to Mercadona,...

Re: Flying between Balearic islands

Many thanks for your replies! Well I’ve now checked in for both sets of flights, so if we’re Covid-free on Wednesday it’ll be happy days (fingers crossed)! Over the years we’ve faced various challenges getting to the island, especially at Christmas due to bad weather (and of course, dronegate) and w...

Flying between Balearic islands

Hi Got flight booked to Palma next Saturday (arriving just before midday) and onward flight to Mahon at 9pm. Booked our PCR tests for Wednesday, based on the flight into Palma (72 hours before), but I’m now wondering if I should’ve booked them for Thursday, as I’m not sure what the rules are for fly...

Re: Rainbow Spice

We'll give it a try, if we manage to get there for Christmas :???: TBH we've always had good food there anyway, but only ever really dined there during our Christmas break, due to Boni Indian Spice being open in Son Bou during the summer months. We haven't tried Motin's new place, Dhaka Spice, in Ma...

Re: Sushi - Es Castell

Yes, that’s it, Kate! She travelled to Spain to study Spanish for her degree, ended up in Menorca, met her boyfriend and never returned home (who can blame her)? She told us both her parents had sadly passed away a few years ago, but we haven’t seen her about for a while.

Re: Sushi - Es Castell

Will definitely give it a try if they’re open at Christmas (if we actually get there). Way in Mahon used to be fabulous years ago, when it was in the tiny building next to Pierro’s, but it’s definitely suffered from over-expansion. Saying that, we do usually end up there on Christmas Eve, as there’s...

Re: Budha Bar , Vincent issues?

Hi Corsario Many thanks for the update! Not much happening in the resort now then, unsurprisingly. We also haven't used the Mai Tai for a good few years (won't go into the reasons  ) so we're obviously not missing much. I see on another post that you're heading back to the UK soon :???: Well I ...
